About Dr. Connor

Andrew M. Connor, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr ConnorI became interested in orthodontics during junior high school… imagine that! I remember being a patient while in the 8th grade and really enjoying my appointments. Watching my orthodontist help people and seeing my teeth improve every month was very interesting to me. Honestly, it was those two years that changed my life. I decided on my career right then and never wavered. I am fortunate to be doing something I really enjoy. Many thanks to my orthodontist, Dr. Aldrich!

I grew up in Columbus, Ohio, and attended Miami University. I received my dental degree from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree in orthodontics from Washington University in St. Louis. My orthodontic training was taught by progressive instructors who used different orthodontic techniques. I also instructed students at The Ohio State Dental School for 10 years, which I really enjoyed.

I am an active member of the Hocking Valley Dental Society, the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. My community involvement includes being a member of Rotary International, the Symposiarchs and St. Mary Church. I am a past volunteer on the YMCA board. Other outside interests I enjoy include golfing, skiing, gardening and coaching basketball.

I have lived and practiced orthodontics in Lancaster since 1983. My wife, Kathy, and I have raised four wonderful daughters: Colleen, Maggie, Clare and Rosie. We all have similar interests and like hanging out together, enjoying life and having fun. I am blessed to have such a close family and support group.
